Reminder: Terms of Service

Based on the recent tightening of surveilance and such on English Language sites, users of ShanghaiExpat are reminded to use all common sense possible when posting on this or any other internet site. Anything posted to any site on the web can and will be cahed in some form and will often be available for all to see smemwhere else other than the site initially posted. Please THINK before posting anything as your posts can become permanently available on the web.

As a reminder, I think maybe all take a look at the SHanghaiexpat.com Terms of Service (Linked below) in regards to how and what to contribute to this site.

Can the moderators get rid of moronic posters who add nothing to the threads but are merely posting to draw attention to themselves and who are instigating various fights on here?

Posting the occasional Chinese sentence adds flavour to the site, but not long Chinese pages. You must understand that not everyone here understands Chinese. You end up alienating those who cannot read Chinese and make them uncomfortable. Imagine if someone started posting Arabic or some other foreign language that we do not understand here, we will also be upset, right.
