Rental costs for a 2 bed place

Postby annabg » Sat Sep 16, 2006 4:43 pm

Hi

My friends are apartment hunting in the French Concession and want to spend 5000 - 6000RMB for a 2 bedroom place. They are not too fussy about decor, they don't need a receipt and a low level is fine. Does 5 - 6000 RMB sound possible?

thanks for any advise!

Yes, should be no problem as long as you find a reliable real estate agent or check out the internet. A friend of mine was shown last week 8 appartements in the Concession, ca. 50-70 m2 and they were all starting at 8000 rmb, this happens often to Westerners. I found myself an appartment near Hengshan road with 2 bedrooms and a living room within your price range by the internet. And i lived in another one in the same price range. Both totally renovated and bright ! search ans you will succeed. Good luck to your friends

Defintely possible, try as much reliable real estate as you can, you'll have more chance to meet your needs.

2 bedroom should be easily avaliable for 6,000.
Yo mama''s so fat, she dont need the Internet - she's already world wide.

Try and use a Chinese to negotiate the price, they can usually get better prices!
