Router Fried

Postby maxiewawa » Fri Aug 17, 2007 7:42 pm

Ugh, the subject says it all.

I came home tonight to find my wireless router sketchy. Basically I couldn't connect. It wouldn't show up on my available wireless networks list. If I kept searching though, it would show up every 2 minutes or so.

I found out that it might be that I had too many appliances plugged into the power strip. That, and resetting the router helped, but somehow it erased my password. I can now logon, but there is no security. Grrrr....

I set up the router once before, and I think I can do it again. But I've thrown out the ******* instruction book, which has a list of numbers I type into my browser to adjust settings of the router.

I have a D-Link DI-624+A wireless router. Does anyone know what I type into the url box of my browser to access the router? Thanks!
