Does anyone play in or know of any rugby/football(soccer) teams in shanghai?
I'm moving to Puxi from England and desperately looking for a team to play for.

Rugby/Touch/Gaelic/AFL/Ultimate Frisbee/Cricket are all played at the Shanghai Rugby Football Club (http://www.shanghaifootballclub.com/index.php).

Cricket is played on Sundays and everything else is played on Saturday.

Touch is also played at the Shanghai Stadium on Tuesday nights (7-9pm).

There are loads of expat soccer teams (Google is your friend).

Welcome to Shanghai and of course, make sure your health insurance is paid up if you're playing contact sport.

Theres a league set up, around 20 teams usually set up in the bars, try O'Malleys just off hengshan lu,Big bamboo on tongren lu or Malone's (these are the best team in shanghai by far but train miles away from the bar) amongst others get in touch I'll let you have an address and training times for a couple of the teams, where i go on tuesday night
