You must be Yanker's number 1 fan!

I think the total amount was actually more like ten times that figure. But only if you count the damn foreigners.

No, because the quality of journalism is pathetic. The article suggests that Sean Penn was "grinning smugly" and that Chavez is a "crackpot". There are many newspapers of every political persuasion that have journalists with the ability to write without resorting to cheap tabloid insults.
On the issue of The Falklands, the only people who's opinion should really matter is the citizens of the islands. It's up to them.

custer wrote:And the Falklanders have consistently said that they are British and wish to remain so. This present sabre rattling by the Argies is about oil, not some windswept islands over which they have a very dubious legal claim.

No doubt about it. The reason that Britain wants to keep them and Argentina wants them is the same - Oil.

Custer, is it OK for ambassadors to enunciate the official positions of the countries they represent? Or is that not part of their job description?

Answer the question, or your entire thread becomes FAIL.

jzzzzzzz wrote:Custer, you should reread your own thread. I don't think anyone has suggested you are an extremest for attacking Sean Penn. I called you a racist because you used an obviously racist term.
