Here's some pictures. Tried them at the weekend and I agree they are very good. The price isn't so good though, 51rmb for a cheeseburger and fries seems pretty expensive to me compared with the gourmet burgers on offer in Shanghai.

one criticism I have though is the salad in the burger was heavily chilled and made the burger cold in about a minute. The double burger might put up more of a fight.

I tried the Mushroom topping hamburger at Bubbas recently (no pics). Had a thick slice of tomato, 2 large onion rings, and some lettuce to go with it. Side serve of chips, too.

Burger bun was ok, and held up, though a little on the small side. The patty was neither burnt nor pink on the inside, and thick. However, the meat in preparation was not spiced; I needed to continually place tomato sauce on it, making it a little bit moist, and adding to the taste. I get the sense that it was quality meat (though I am in no position to be able to verify). The chips were a light colour, initially crisp, & hot and certainly seemed to have been cooked in proper oil, being devoid of that miserable taste that Burger King or Big M have. They were unfortunately the same type/cut of chip as BK and McD. Instead of the chips, you can order a salad. This was the Monday night half price at RMB40.Without a doubt, Bubbas Monday half price hamburger deal is way better than McD.

Altogether, it was ok, and filling enough. A little cheaper than Carl's Jnr 2nd most expensive set at RMB43 (double patty, double cheese, some salad, chips, soft drink), but I think I would have liked some cheese on my Bubba's burger. (They do have one with cheese, a different cheese, just not this one). Carl's Jnr was more filling, I feel, seemingly being larger.
