Does anyone know where to find good deals on flights to Sydney. I'd be leaving mid-december if that makes any difference.

Thanks,

Hey Tanya.

I have a travel agent friend that can help you out or you can visit Qantas airlines website. www.qantas.com.au

I think you are in luck because there is a direct flight from Shanghai to Sydney now and they were annoucing some cheap fares...something like 6000rmb return. I can't remember where I saw it advertised but most like City Weekend or That's Shanghai.

Also you can try Malaysian airlines. You have to stop over in Malaysia but the airline is a lot better (inflight tv at each seat 21 channels 6 showing movies at all times, nintendo video games at each seat and decent food). But I am not sure how much they cost.

Hope things are going well for you. Let me know if you want the travel agent's name and I will send you a text.

I just got a return ticket SHA to sydney for 5600 after all the taxes. I just went to the quantas office in the Portman. The price also included a flight to brisbane, adilade, or the gold coast, but I did not need it.

Air China direct from Shanghai to Sidney right now is RMB5000 plus taxes (valid for 6 months), for mid December departure the seat is getting tight so you'll need to book it asap. Qantas right now is about RMB5900 plus taxes(valid for 1 month).

If you need it just drop me a note or send a message to matthewpeng@oriensgroup.com, or just ring me at 13701663327. I can help you with this (my company does mainly corporate travel business).
