Hello everybody !

I just arrived in Shanghai and i'm going to study at JiaoTong university (MinHang campus).

I'm looking for a shared flat close to the campus. But on most websites/classified ads there' no offer like this in MinHang (or only big houses...).

I want to know if you have some tips to find shared flats near MinHang campus, if you're looking for a roommate. If you're in the same situation as me, we can maybe find a flat to share.

Might be difficult out there, you´re not staying on campus, in the exchange students dorm?

The closest subway station is Dongchuan Rd on line 5. But if you wanna live around there you probably need a bike to get to campus and around campus... freaking huge.

I was told that there's no more room available on the campus.

Can anyone tell me how long it would take by subway, Line 5 to get from the minhang campus of Jiaotong University to people's square? Also is subway line 5 a fully operational line. Thanks
