Shipping holiday gifts to the United States

Postby MattFlax » Sun Dec 07, 2008 10:13 am

I have separate sets of small gifts to send the United States and am going to ship via China Post. Can I wrap the gifts? :D

I went to China Post yesterday to do a similar thing, and was required to unwrap all the gifts for inspection. Having said that, two weeks ago I posted some gifts and wasn't required to unwrap them first....... it seems to be a bit of a lottery!

prepare the wrapping before you go, just don't tape it up until after they inspect. The Post Office is slow on weekend afternoons, can tape and add ribbons there.

Does China Post offer parcel tracking numbers? Anyone have any bad experience with the package being lost or damaged when the overseas receiver receives it?
