Hi everyone, I'd like to get a list of recommended hotels (4 stars, price range: 6-800 RMB / night) near the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (Longyang Lu, Pudong).

I have some people coming for an exhibition in October and would like to recommend them a decent / non fancy / convenient hotel.

I stay at non fancy 4 star Yang Jian Hua Hotel 591 Meihua Lu. 20 minute walk or 5 min taxi ride to expo center and next door to my office. But it is only rmb 280 per night (on contract) and includes breakfast. Very few Americans stay there but see other foreign nationals.

Very clean, very nice people and large rooms available. Close to Century Park and to Subway. I stay there 2-3 weeks at a time 8-10 times a year. phone 021-68451000, fax 021-50592770. If interested, book early as they only have about 80 rooms and they fill them 100% for each exposition. I have stayed at most hotels in that area as expo center is very near my office but this, I find is the best value around.
