I reformatted my staff window XP desktop computer, made two accounts, admin & staff account, with admin you can download, install and change setting, but with staff account it has very limited access, most of software work in both accounts, but I just bump into one software that only work in admin, when use from the staff account, it turn on but lot of feature won't work? any advice?

normal behavior for an admin and a limited account.

you can try to login using your staff account, right click the exe file of the said software and then choose "run as". after doing so, input the administrator's username and password to reinstall the software

hope this works...

Thanks Seph, I uninstall the software from admin account, switch the staff (limited) account into a staff (admin) account so it can install the software from the staff (admin) account, after install, change staff (admin) back to staff (limited) account, and the software work like beauty.

Maybe the whole idea of the program is to not install all features available for local users!

Many programs come with this feature, so that you can set up a group policy instead limiting the users access to the program and it's settings!!!!
