Of course not, unless its HIV, in which case you anyway should consider what is best for you. Otherwise no worries. Most STD are treated by a strong course of antibiotics.
- Mr. Mathis, there's something that's been worrying me...

- Aye, it worries me, too.

i went to the worldlink the other week and was very impressed.
Fast and very efficient (and that way too when it came to payment)
I'm in the wrong job....1100rmb for 10 mins!

If you're worried about HIV then maybe best see a western Dr.
The doc told me that shanghai is rife with gonorrhea and chylmadia at the moment.
They also cannot give you a positive HIV result until 6months after contact so even if you have got it then they can't kick you out for 6 months.

Wouldn't worry about it too much.Very hard for male to catch (depending on what you were doing) With a name like that could be anything!

Good luck, it could be worse

As far as I am aware that is not yet grounds for expulsion but I could be wrong.

Oops....came in here thinking this was a forum on long distance dialing --- Stanard Trunk Dialing - regardless, hope you feel better --- can't see why you shud be deported, unless you want to go home....

At the risk of sounding paternal, I should say - consider a healthier lifestyle going forward!

Good luck and God speed!

I like the "Very hard for male to catch", exactly in what century was that said?

HIV is tranferred during exchange of bodily fluids, and if it's hard for men to catch, how come thousands of foreigners return from trips to Thailand every year and test positive?

Better safe than sorry, use protection.

And remember, if you're a player, expect to be played as well (some girls with HIV prefer players, it's their punishment on players)

:-)

This only shows that you're one of those ignorant fools.

I know as a fact that you can buy a clean bill of healt anywhere in Pattaya, Phuket or Bangkok.

Westerners don't care because they can postpone the breakout with medicine back home.

Let me give you some hard facts:
http://www.sexwork.com/Thailand/aids.html
http://samui.sawadee.com/general/health.htm
http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_t ... _1040.html
http://www.cdnn.info/news/travel/t050805a.html
http://www.avert.org/aidsthai.htm
http://www.cdnn.info/alert/travel/w050817.html

The last one states "Thailand has an epidemic of HIV infection and AIDS. Heterosexual transmission accounts for most HIV infections and HIV is common among prostitutes of both sexes."

You stated that "thousands of foreigner come back from Thailand with HIV every year". That was pure nonsense. You are the ignorant trying to fool other people here. How come millions of Thais are not dying of AIDS?!

The last site in your list is Scuba Diving News Network? Talk about authoritative sources. Good one.

I read on a medical website that the chances of a man getting HIV from a HIV positive partner was 0.3% compared to 0.1% from a needle stick injury. I would be interested to know where you get your " thousand of foreigners return from trips to Thialand and test positive" comment from as we all know it isn't true.

Lets try some cold facts about HIV,

Vaginal intercourse is the most rapidly growing risk factor for acquiring HIV infection in the United States and in the developing world it is the most common method of HIV transmission.
Stated by: http://www.healthology.com/focus_articl ... =hiv_intro

More than 200.000 females registered with aids in Thailand 2003 (and if you search for AIDS/HIV on the internet you'll see that the Thai government guesses that the number is 10 times higher):
Stated by: http://hivinsite.ucsf.edu/global?page=cr08-th-00

And if you want to learn something about aids have a look at their main site: http://hivinsite.ucsf.edu/InSite

Small island of Phuket (statement from K. Eam-on working on government HIV project in Thailand article copied from Phuket Gazette):
http://www.phuket-info.com/forums/news- ... kings.html

The reason for your statements IS that HIV/AIDS isn't a problem anymore, so people don't think nor read about it anymore :-)

If you want more hard facts try and search the CIA Factbook in the US, their numbers are also guesses from 2003 but higher than the official numbers.

Ignorance is why this disease is spreading at a high rate.

No, the reason for my statement was that you yourself stated that thousands of foreigners come back from Thailand with HIV every year with no back up whatsoever for that figure. You mention the cold hard facts about HIV above. Perhaps you would be better sticking to them yourself.

Now that we have uncovered this little propaganda trick, lets go back to our original topic. Sick_disturbed, how is it going for you?

The chances of contracting AIDS froma single act of intercourse with an infected partner is very small.
The chances of pregnancy occurring as the result of a single act of intercourse is also very small.
BUT, in spite of that there are 1.3 billion people in China.
If every man who went to Thai had sex ONCE I dont think that there would be a problem.

Condoms do NOT give 100%protection, but it should be unthinkable not to use them.
