Stress Management techniques

Postby Douglass » Tue Mar 10, 2009 8:13 pm

What techniques are being employed by the corporate organizations for stress management of their employees, and are they really beneficial and what extent are they successful in implementing these techniques?

Hi Douglass. Are you attempting to research a thesis topic, or is someone going to appear on this thread offering a stres management course?

^ Odd how that works...

In our company we encourage stress. We want to tap into that "Fight or Flight" response and channel in to business related activities.

Kicking the sh1t out of somebody every now and then is extremely relaxing and fulfilling.

The major techniques used by CEO Wellness are:

1/ Avoiding being led outside and lined up against a wall...

2/ Blaming someone or something else

3/ Leaving town and faking death

4/ Moving to China, secretly

To name a just a few

i second the beer comment, nearly every single chinese colleague at my company tells me they are stressed and overworked, they also tell me they would like to be more free like me yet if you ask them what they do on the weekend they reply 'sat on internet, watched tv' etc. best bet is to get wasted :)
