Suzhou Creek Residential Compounds

Postby DesertSpider » Fri Dec 07, 2007 6:01 pm

Aka: New Apartments, Lane or Garden Houses, etc.

Curious if anyone is living in a residential compound / house / etc. off of Suzhou Creek in Puxi inside of #4 metro loop ???

I'm looking for properties that literally overlook the creek, does anyone know of any available ?

Thx.

I assumed so, thx. for the reply - trying to get an 'accurate feel' for what is available / market (if there is such a thing).

I live there as well...backside Zhongshan Park in a river bend with great fengshui according to the property management guys. Overlooking a stretch of 2-3 km Suzhou Creek. Building is 3 years old, apartment 150m2, however, no real compound, just 1 building.

For lane or garden houses....you probably have to head westwards till far behind old Hongqiao airport to find that. Maybe a big loft apartment in one of these (almost) converted old warehouses between Jing'An and the Bund could be interesting.

I own one in Ban Dao Hua Yuan, which overlooks the creek.
English name is Peninsula Garden's.

Its a nice complex ,reasonable sized park inside, and thankfully only a few buildings inside, unlike other monstrous compounds I've been into with >500,000,000 towers... (Da An, Zhong Tan Park Apartment block, etc...)

I was renting it out for 6500 a month (decent western buildout, open kitchen), but I'm moving back in, now that I've almost paid off the bond (mortgage).
