TAOBAO EXPERTS....Is this Nintendo DS on taobao legit....?

Postby ReDDs3D » Sun Sep 18, 2011 6:30 pm

http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=9007 ... dd16ebb8a0

I was thinking about buying one as I was looking to purchase a handheld and I looked on Taobao and saw this.....it's USD$30....

But it looks like it can play NDS games and such, can any TaoBao Experts confirm it for me...?

Thanks

I don't know but recently the Mrs and I shelled out a few hundred for her Aupres face cream (which was much cheaper than buying it in a department store).

Anyway, the product arrived. Packaging is bang on (looks identical) but the smell of the product inside it is ... different. And my lady says using it she can tell it isn't the real thing.

Good luck :)

The store doesn't have the little tag that guarantees it to be genuine and only 6 people have bought it in the past 30 days. This would cause some suspicion. They offer 7 days money back guarantee no questions asked so maybe you could buy it and try it out? People who have bought it before seemed pretty happy with it.

Below orange button (buy now) and blue button (add to your shopping cart), you'll see vendor with little green look like both hands holding number 7 in red symbol is the mark for 7 days guarantee. So better to choose the vendor with that symbol on it. And Taobao vendors can get away from paying tax... one reason they are cheap?

Agree with Victoria.. just try it and if you don't like it return it within 7 days after you receive it. Oh and according to them, they give 2 years repair warranty. :)

If this is going to be delivered to your house just get the celphone number of the delivery guy who delivers it. That way in case you need to return it, just ring him up and tell him to pick it up. But first you need to ask the seller their address.

Have you return anything in taobao before?

FAKE

Why?
1) It's for sale on Taobao

2) That packaging over the screens looks like shite

3) The speaker holes closest to the screen are false.

4) in the closed picture of the black one, you can see a Nintendo sticker is stuck crookedly

5) No picture of it's stylus

6) This model was discontinued

I never buy my beauty products in China.. I used taobao but I choose the Hong Kong or Macau seller. no way im buying my Shiseido line with chinese words printed on the bottle...

Also, you can use Sasa Hong Kong online website for beauty products..

O.o

Wow....thanks.....did not notice....

I think if it can still play NDS games, what's the problem....it's not like those 'PSP' Mp5/mp4 players that can only play roms and sh*t like that

My understanding of the Chinese it seems to indicate that it's just 7 days exchange, not for a refund, which is a lot less useful if the store only has crap you don't want. Is that right, have you used this option before?

Most of the time even without the refund symbol, it can still be returned and refunded. :)

to make sure, OP can use aliwangwang and chat with seller to make sure.

Fake or a really poor copy, I had one of those and the quality was much better than the one showed in the pics. Even small details.

I actually have never used taobao myself before. I've had my friend order stuff for me (and I just give him the money)

I've so far gotten an 8 micro SD card (probably fake because it was 40Y) from there and Copy xbox 360 game (crysis 2)
and I was pleased with both

As I said, the pictures there doesn't show the quality Nintendo put in theirs handhelds, but if you have the guarantee I think it could be a safe bet. But for me that is a cheap copy that now runs the games.
