Tennis Masters Shanghai 2007

Hey,
was wondering whether its possible to get tickets for "one match" for this year's Masters. I was told that one needs to buy the ticket for the whole day which includes 4 matches and thus makes the prices steep.

Can anybody tell me from his/her past experience how to get a cheap ticket for one match. Do people sell tickets outside the stadium before that match is gonna start? what do you suggest i do.

cheers

In the past it was for the day, which usually was doubles stuff in the day and singles at night. It was pretty avoidable starting from about 200rmb. I didnt see any scalpers outside the venue (either of the last two years) like u usually do at any other sporting event in shanghai.

But i had tickets and media passes before so it wasnt as if i needed the scalpers. they must have been there somewhere
it's like bacteria, eventually when they run out of sh1t to eat they will start to eat each other.

That's just the way they structure the ticket sales so I doubt you can buy a one match ticket because how are they going to sell the other matches that day? They'd have to find someone who didn't want to watch the match you are watching but watch all the others.

There may be scalpers but then you're not guaranteed. I've got semi final day tickets which means both singles and both doubles matches, 4 in all. Looking forward to it.

booked my ticket today for the 11th - 380 rmb - cheapest ticket, going to pick it up tomorrow!!! don't think you can find tickets for just one game .. best bet - book tickets for the 12th or 13th - much cheaper compared to to the other dates ...
