anyone know when if ever will this movie be shown in SH? how much is a movie ticket here and would the movie be in english or dubbed into chinese?

Just buy the pirated copy. I watched it in HK and was the worst of the 4.

I think the UME theater @ Xintiandi will start playing it on the 9th or 10th of June. It will be in English with Chinese subtitles. Movie tickets there usually go for 60 to 80 RMB per person, variable by show time and release date. The theater is one of the nicest in Shanghai (the price should prove it). I saw Star Trek there yesterday and enjoyed the experience. The auditoriums are non-smoking, scoring big points with me.

Late night sessions at Grand Gateway in Xu Jia Hui are half price. only 35RMB. Saw "Star Trek" there on opening night. I'm sure other theatres have the same deal.

What time is Late night ? Is it every night...

Anybody's got the website address of the main Theatres in Shanghai (in English) it's damn difficult to get the schedule here

For me it was the 10pm session on a Friday. I assume its every night.

It was a good movie but lots of holes to fill. Rental might be better unless you're really intp CGI.

In the cinema close to where I live, tickets are 100RMB ...

Hi, sorry, it was in Qingdao. Every Tuesday ALL local cinemas have 50% price off.
And this Tuesday was a first day of plays TS ! Got it cheap ! This movie is ok, worth my 75 RMB :wink:
