They have a consulting chef (very well known around town) plus i believe they have their full time #1 and #2 chef

Not that it has anything to do with it but the slamming of food consultants is uninformed. Do you really think David Laris cooks at all his venues around town? He does a lot of consulting and I would hardly call him failed at his field.

I am looking forward to trying it out, is it definitely opening on Friday?

OOOOOOOOooooo now I am intrigued, will definitely throw some of my beer coupons behind their bar.thewalrus wrote:bbc74 wrote:I did ask this earlier but no-one answered - is it a secret who the guys are running this place?

Don't think its a state secret. Run by a bunch of guys, including one of the founders of 'the other' Shanghai sports bar.
I'm biased, I know the guys and wish them all the best. The fact that's its on the way home for me is a godsend; getting across town to the Boo is now a nightmare.

Was that meant to be an insult? I've been to the Bulldog and if ever there was an old man's bar that was it. Not necessarily a bad thing by the way...
