I want to get these for my husband; do you know if the emma-online service is good, is it better than calling the theater itself? Is emma-online like Ticketmaster sort of thing? I just wonder about buying these tickets through the website - like, the website has spelling errors and all that and that kind of makes me suspicious about the reliability of it!

Just called EMMA - they are now NOT ACCPETING BOOKINGS until next week.

Must have somethignto do with the Chinese Sales Office announcing the shows (albeit softly) before the Stones did themselves....fingers crossed its still all systems go....

Eho organizes this? the organizers are idiots for doing it in the Grand theatre. Who wants to sit down in a theatre to watch the stones. Muppets! Pisses me off already! If you get the seats for 200 0r 600 it's gonna suck!

It's not in the Grand Theater.

It's on the Grand Stage, ie inside Shanghai Indoor Stadium. (think IKEA area)

the best you can make out of all tihs is that it could be half decent as there wont be more than 8.000 people there - which could almost be considerd "quasi-intimate" for the Stones. Remember last week they played to a million people in Rio - so 8.000 doesnt sound so bad after all.

I just hope they use their own sound stage - the venues sound system is guaranteed to SUCK!!.

I saw Sting in Taipei and while i am not a fan of his its probably the smallest venue us westerners are likely to see him in. With the large comfy seats its was a bit like having him in your living room.

As walrus says, with the size of concerts they have been playing this will probably be your only chance to see them close up, so enjoy it.

Who is the events organisers here?? I mean SEATING on the ground level at a rock 'n' roll concet?? And the prices of them?? Dont get me wrong i will still go The Stones are an incredible act but they could up the capacity and lower the prices by making the floor area standing. with perhaps a premium for an area closer to the stage. Then the atmosphere would be that of a REAL rock 'n' roll gig.

It's at the Ba Wan Ren Stadium in Xu Jia Hui or the 10,000 Person Stadium on Tian Yao Qiao Lu. I used to live across the street from there.

the prices are cheaper than in the states. Here the front floor seats were $1500 face value. A rip off! But Keith Richards probably doesn't have much longer to go, so this is towards the end.

Trying to get my tix today (delivered) - bit busy over there at EMMA - they said that people who boked before March 1st should get their tix today through to Thursday....
