Hi Guys....

As food selection is very important because people have different goals . So,me want to lose weight and some want to gain . But here I have come to share with you people that most of the people nowadays want to lose weight . So We need to focus on the foods that are helpful in weight loss . Here are the top foods for weight loss :

Green vegetables
Fruits
Fish

uh, just looking at some of the chinese food stuffs available at the market is enough at times.

These foods are either zero or very low in calories. Zero means it takes just as much energy to eat them as the energy available in the food:

Fruit
Apricots
Watermelon
Strawberries
Apples

Green Peppers.
Cabbage

Coffee in the morning with a nice generous line of cocaine. Then afternoon bump of speed mixed with a little PCP and a bagel, followed in the evening with a sticky joint sprikled with a little crack and a nice bourbon on the rocks to take the edge of the end of the day.

The above advice is bogus, all of it.

The best food for rapid weight loss is undoubtedly human flesh. Seared quickly on the hot plate to seal in the juices and then allowed to rest for a few minutes before serving, perhaps with blinis and a loganberry coulis.

Ideally one would source baby flesh, less than 3 months, breast fed, lightly killed and then hung for around 60 days.

Watch the kilos just drop away! Also marvellous for your adrenals.

Grab some on the way to work and you'll find that throughout the day you'll drop 2-3kg's. Repeat daily for massive weight loss.

Most of the weight can be flushed away.

Rice, potatoes, rice cakes, wraps and buckwheat noodles are also good sources of basic carbs and FIBRE which is essential for weight loss. I should have knocked bagels off the list as they are high calorie. Others are indeed low in calories. I personally think that variety is essential and given the high cost of many western foodstuffs here I wanted to list as many low calorie as possible.

Isn't celery the only real weight -loss food? It may be some kind of urban myth but I think you expend more calories eating the stuff than you get from it.

Fruits is VERY RELATIVE.

Fruits have A HEALTHY form of sugar (fructose)and that has quite a bit of calories on the other hand no proteins which means a fruit gives you short term energy but it won't keep you full very long.

YES, an apple is better option over a portion of cheesecake BUT it is not a meal.

In order to loose weight and MAINTAIN it you need to eat the right combination of fat, protein & carbs as our body needs all of them :wink: .

top weight loss food?....that would only be....sh1t. no matter who it comes from, preferrably from strangers. that way whenever u feel like to eat, just look at it passionately and take a deep breath from 15cm far...hmmm.

guess im trying to say u should just eat less of whatever ur eating now. of course low fat food sounds healthier, but long time inhibiting ur food choice makes u less happier, and maybe lead to a bad explosion at some point.

i say side street food (hre). Everytime i eat 'em I get diarrhea. Works all the time.
U pay under 5 yuan for an instant material loss.

Not logical? Then why don't you stop eating for lets say 14 days and then tell us that the not eaten food did not have an effects on your weight.

Okay, serious answer this time.

There are no "weight loss foods". For example, fresh fruit is "good for you", however eating three bushels of fresh fruit a day is not "good for you."

I'll give you some simple advice for healthier eating, and it's going to sound like cliches and common sense:

Stick to high volume, low fat, whole foods- as opposed to low volume, high fat, high sugar, processed food. Eat a well balanced diet. Don't eat garbage. Don't starve yourself. Don't over eat.
Live simply. Give much. Expect little.

Amen! Came to China from USA only like a month ago. Lost 17 lbs (was ~160lb before coming) and I am sure the above was one of the main reasons.
