Travel agent to book tickets to LAX?

Postby neeki » Mon Dec 06, 2010 11:59 am

I've been running around trying to get a reasonable price for PVG-LAX-PVG, preferably on China Eastern, as that seems to be the cheapest airline, but I'll take anything else with a lower price. I've been watching the prices go up and down on the official website, and all the quotes I've gotten from travel agents so far are lousy, at least a couple thousand more than what I'm seeing on the China Eastern website.

Does anyone have a good travel agent they can recommend? He or she will be getting lots of business from me for the next four years at least.

what kind of prices are you getting. I fly united frequently and the range has been $800-1200 USD round trip. If you fly frequently you will get economy plus which has 5 more inches of leg room, it's not as nice as business class, but it is tolerable with an aisle seat. I fly PVG-SFO-SNA, but you can also go PVG-SFO-LAX

Helen Gong - helengong2008@gmail.com
She's my regular agent and very reliable. A search of this site will bring up a lot of recommendations for her.

Thanks everyone. I've tried Helen and most other people recommended by people on the forums. The prices I was getting ranged from 10-13k RMB, all for various airlines including United. I managed to get a decent deal of 8k RMB from Boda Travel on ANA via Narita. I'll look into United for the next trip, and I'll also let you know, crush 928.
