travelling in China during this season??

travelling in China during this season??

Postby currychook » Wed Jul 02, 2008 1:53 pm

Does anyone have input on whether this is the best time to go to yunnan? I heard that travel bookings are down, esp during this period because of a number of factors. Would this be a good time (if u are stuck in Shanghai) to travel around China because crowds would be low and tickets easier to come by? Would it be BAU (biz as usual) for hotels and entertainment? Please correct me if I am wrong and thanks in advance.

Just kindly remind you that Classic has a group departure to Inner Mongolia in July during the annual Naadam Festival! (24-27July)

With exciting itinerary on grassland and sands bay, we provide a very reasonable price! For detail information please send email to sarah@classictravel.net.cn or call 64160808*24

This group is full way escorted by air conditioned tour bus and English speaking tour guide. It will consist of expats who are living and working in Shanghai, and are from various English speaking countries.

Just checked the airfares- not reasonable- not worth going. I think I'll give it a miss.

If there is ever an issue, and we have had only one in the 20 or so times we have used them...You can go to the office and resolve it in person.
Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital ingredient in beer.....Dave Barry
