In all those places, I'm sure you will be able to make a "friend" very quickly :)

well, most backpackers welcome light conversation, and it's always interesting hearing stories from them.. geez, this reminds me of the movie "beach"..

Not in Boracay. It's very much a "couples and families" resort. I believe there is one girlie bar but I never went there.

I have a friend who owns a small resort at Puerto Galera, which is a diving/beach resort on the northern tip of Mindoro Island. Never been there, but apparently it crawls with girlies (and alcoholic BHL expats).
The bottom line here is we must lower our cost base to make room for a lower margin product mix world and to grow our earnings going forward.

What is a BHL expat?

Phils is one of the easiest places to make friends. Even in Boracay, there will be groups of girlfriends that go for fun. Just be a gentleman in public. It's been a while but if you want the other kind of 'friend', the two bars I can remember are Summer Place and Cocomoes

So, first make a "friend" in Manila (or Angeles City), and bring him/her with. How hard is that?

too many places for 7 days my friend. Skip manilla if possible or just stsy one night and choose one place to go such as boracay and you will only have 6 days there. no time to rush over to another place. if you are going for beaches go to boracay or if for the other stuff just take a bus up to clarke from manilla.

manilla is a scum hole. dont get in taxis with the first people that approach you there, go to the real taxi stand even if you need to cross over the street and go up the stairs.
