URGENT. Any Pymt.Procesor in China that accept foreign cc?

Postby passer.by » Tue Aug 12, 2008 1:24 am

Hi all,
I like to know have anyone here buy stuff from Chinese website using your foreign (non-china issued debit / credit card)?

I'm from Malaysia and really like to buy some stuff from an online seller here and we both agree to use PayPal (it's safe for both of us) , only to find out PP charges like $35USD (i believed the withdrawal fee?). I'm like  coz HK (since it's part of China) 's PP only like a fraction of it and so is Malaysia.

Now me + seller practically stuck in transition :(

Any thoughts?

Thanks.URGENT

your probably just as likely to get ripped off by doing a simple TT. So that would be the easiest solution.

what is the amount?

You don't want to use your CC with Chinese sites. I would rather consider a TT.

Using your CC on Chinese sites is safe -- as safe as anywhere else.

PP does not charge a withdrawl fee for purchases. Make sure you select the PP option for buying goods and services instead of sending cash.

Paypal charges the seller approx 4% if the buyer uses an credit card.. does not charge if the money comes from their bank account or paypal balance.

The fee in question here is what Paypal charges the seller to withdraw from Paypal to their bank account in China, which is much higher than when you withdraw to an account in the US or even HK (basically free although you lose a lot in foreign exchange if the primary currency is different from the one of your bank account).

Thanks guys for your input...but I was thinking more towards any CHINA payment processor out there that can accept NON-CHINA crdeit card payment hence the seller can register himself there.

I gather that the most famous (so it seems) is alipay.com. but heck, it's all in chinese, even web translation couldn't translate it. So I'm not sure it can accept my cc (well actually VISE debit card) payment.

Anything similar ?

Get a friend who understands Chinese, register at your local bank for e-commerce, use your local bank account to pay. As far as I'm concerned PayEnemy should go directly to jail--do not pass Go, do not collect $100!
Things are more like they are now than they have ever been.
