Valentine's day ideas??

Postby antsmarching » Sun Feb 01, 2009 9:09 am

My boyfriend is coming to SH for Valentine's day weekend. He has never been to SH before. I want to plan a special weekend for him. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Where should I take him for dinner on the 14th? Is there a place where we can go dancing afterwards? Money is not an issue. I just want to plan the most romantic weekend. I feel like I should come up with ideas of my own but I really don't know SH that well.

Thank you all in advance

Book a VIP room at a leading luxury hotel's chinese restaurant. Its the only romantic way to eat Chinese food, unless you love the noisy crowd.

Romantic places to dance are probably places with live bands. Probably a Jazz Club if you're okay with jazz or walk around Xin tian di and look for a place that has a live band playing romantic music.

Back to the Jazz clubs i think there's a CJW Bund Center 50/F Office Tower, 222 Yan An Road East, which has an excellent view. And if that place is playing romantic jazz then you got the a jackpot of romance! I'm not too sure if they still have a jazz bar there since when I tried to use guanxi on my mobile it only showed the Xintiandi CJW and the Bund Center CJW was missing.
