When I first lived in China, I used Astrill and it worked fine. I recently returned after 6 months of being away and purchased a 6 month subscription before entering into China. I downloaded all the recent updates prior to entering to avoid any technical issues. I tested my connection in the US and thought it would work in China. Well it doesn't and I've spoken to others that are now stuck with the bill and no service.
Email tech support is a broken record. They ask you to do the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Try Stealth Mode, try changing your port, try turning off your phone, try reinstalling, etc, etc. How about try refunding my money and refund the money you took from other people.
