The statutory annual leave entitlement is based on length of service in the workforce (not just working in your current organisation):

• 1 -10 years’ service = 5 days of annual leave
• 10 years’ - 20 years’ service = 10 days of annual leave
• 20+ years’ service = 15 days of annual leave

A company may offer in excess of the statutory entitlement as a written policy in the employee handbook. The employment contract should align with the employee handbook. Any changes to the employee handbook must be provided to and discussed with all employees or an employee representative body;

• Union or employee representatives must be consulted; and
• Final version of rules must be published

I think that's not illegal as long as the annual leave stays within the law.

But, after 10 years, shouldn't you already have a unlimited (in time) work contract? As far as I know is if you sing 3 times a work contract with the same company, the company cannot give you a limited time offer anymore. A time limit in the contract does not matter, because it's supposedly against the law. I would contact a lawyer to ask for the details, my information is only from what others told me...

You wrote "The company is Singaporian" - is your contract with the Singapore company, or with the business entity they have established in mainland China?
