Hi,

I have an L visa which is valid until August 10th 2011. It has 2 entries, duration of each stay 90 days after entry.

I got it on the 10th February, and am still on my first entry, meaning by the 10th May I need to leave the country and come back - (I think?! I'm so confused!)

Does anyone know what I need to do exactly? Go to Hong Kong and then just come back to Shanghai? Or do I need to go to Hong Kong, visit the visa office and sort something out there?

If I leave for Hong Kong after the 10th May when my first entry ceases to be valid will I get in trouble?

Yes you will, dont overstay.

Give us some more information, like what is the date that you actually entered China? and how long do you plan to stay in total? (this answer might change the neccessity of going to HK or not and save yourself a lot of money) , so we can give you a more detailed correct answer.
