WANTED: SLUMMING PARTNER

Post here if you want to discuss all the things you can do for fun in Shanghai.

WANTED: SLUMMING PARTNER

Postby IamME » Fri Nov 04, 2005 10:46 pm

20s Male seeks partner for fun travels in China. Must be a heartbraker with big balls and a history in business and sports. Let China be our stadium. 10 points per score. Half if you paid, double if she's a professional but you didn't pay.
Let's see who can tell a hundred girls I love them by the end of the trip (only counts if they believe it) (proof of belief: scoring).
Hey Bro, let's get wasted and pull a train. Find some pals at the pub and do DVDA. I want to see her bleed for my twenty dollars.

Meet at the Beijing olimpics in 2008.

I'll be wearing a big foam hand and holding a budweiser and shouting real loud.

See you there bro. If you're not a f ucking pansy assed sissy fagot kitty weiner.

That is the worst post I have ever seen, you give ex-pats and males a bad name, and you perpetuate and justify the bias and prejudices that many locals already have against foreigners. If you think you are such a bad-ass, then why don't you try what you suggest in the slums of Detroit? You should not be in China. I'd be willing to bet what you posted is grounds for arrest in China too, and I think they would be justified in doing so.

GENERAL WARNING & REMINDER
im gonna go out on a limb here... REMINDING all of us here that we are here in this country as guests... the country DOES NOT have to allow us in or allow us to stay here... and if you think for a moment that this country is that free with all your (our) perceived freedom, then think again!... what i am getting at is simple... the CCP have a department expressly set up for vetting all activity on the internet.
POSTS like this one and others concerning sexual behaviour or drugs, DO NOT fly under the radar here, and as such posting such crass topics may lead to this site being pulled from the server or simply blocked.
Im not a prude at all, but having been in Saudi Arabia, I can attest to a governments power and behaviour concerning such topics and China is not that different. I've recently had some very informal discussions with some Govt officials who in the context of our social get together expressed concern over behaviour of us laowais and how this is impacting their culture.
so PLEASE keep this in mind as we go about our lives here as guests in this country.

I think the guy was joking. IamMe, also know as Lame, has proven in the past to be a mighty idiot. But this one sounds like a joke to me.

PS as for sex and foreigners, Sinned69, did you know that foreigners brought KTV, Massage Parlours, Sex Shop on every street corners, the concept of "second wife" and AIDS into China?
- Mr. Mathis, there's something that's been worrying me...
- Yes?
- Well, you're a French police inspector, yet you speak with a Scots accent.
- Aye, it worries me, too.

frenchlover.
i agree with you, but im not interested in debating the topic nor the point. what i was getting at is simple, the chinese will simply block this site if dicussion continues on subjects, they, the chinese find detrimental to the culture and the greater good of their society and we as guests here need to respect there views no matter what we think.
posting such crass topics (joke or otherwise) as this, only serve to close an otherwise useful way for all of us to keep abreast and share useful information. if this initial post was a joke then it is certainly in very poor taste.
my wifes father (he's in the PSB and was formerly with the CCP) read this post today with my wifes help, and he was less than impressed.

all the good that have been done by us laowais is being eroded by some simple minded tasteless and thoughtlessness.

Sure, but I suggest you get your wifes father to walk a few streets and count the number of barbershops (certainly genuine ones, even with neon lights and sexy dressed ladies). Perhaps get into one and ask for the menu of services. On the way, he can also count the number of offending drivers (another subject I reckon but more damaging in terms of people's life and death). Ask your wife to translate this: It is great time the police and the government in this country do something! Benevolence has its limits! Your country is berated as a police-state, a ruthless dictatorshiop in global media, at least make use of it and get something done! Prostitution is everywhere here (by and for locals) which is MUCH worse than Lame's Donjuanism. Lets get real!

Also to the PSB:

- Business cards pushers. They are at most subway station exits and major shopping streets. They PUSH cards to people, usually advertisement for travel agents and the likes. They are rude, push people, create bottlenecks in the streets. Cards end up everywhere, make streets dirty and unpleasant. The municipality end up taking of cost of cleaning etc. How to deal with that? Send policeman to get rid of them, take one of the business cards and fine the companies doing it. If you guys are too lazy: just collect some of the cards at the end of the day and fine the company.

- Sellers of stolen computers and phones. They are operating at some of the city's subway stations. For example Hanzhong Lu Station, Line 1. Take the exit near Zhaolong Hotel, around 10am. Dress casual, they will come to you saying "dianao dianao" or "shouji shouji". Arrest them on the spot. Easy enough?

- Then wait at the street corner. In a few minutes you can probably fine a dozen drivers, those who do not stop at the red light, cross the white line turning left, etc. Easy enough?

- Children beggars. They come form time to time. We had a major problem in Xujiahui station last month. Even a civilian like me was able to spot their "parents" - some adult standing in a corner collecting the money. How come the police cannot find them? During that period, perhaps 2 weeks, I must have complained to policemen stationned there half a dozen time. I would go around the station to find the officer on duty, drag them to see the kid, they would usually say "these are poor people, they have no money" or some related nonsense. Are you guys for real?

There are many areas where the PSB could take practical actions, at low cost, to improve people's live. The revenue generated by all the fines would probably be enough to feed and shelder all Shanghai's beggars. So instead of reading nonsensical posts on the internet, I strongly suggest your wife's papa get some work done.

im not interested in arguing the whys or wherefor's... and i dont disagree with you at all, if you care to research my previous posts etc. however my point (perhaps you missed it) is that we as laowais are here as guests, and while we might see alot of ironies, and certainly things that go againt the better moral judgements of a good & descent society then... we should behave with a little more dignity and be more aware of what is general;ly more acceptable here. and my wifes father doesnt live in a shell either... he's very well aware of what goes on.

I know what you are saying Sinned69 and I tend to agree. But since you have access to a PSB official, which I dont, feel free to pass on some of my comments. Being aware of what goes on and doign something about it. Officials, and any true communist, should be DOING something about it.

I know what you mean - having been party to informal discussion of my own. I say to hell with 'em.

Sinned, you are a sell-out, and you ought to be ashamed of yourself for being so.
I thought about how mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks so I wondered, what do Chinese mothers use? A pair of toothpicks?

i agree with your view 100%, but my 'baba' is a hard working man and has a lot more values and morals that would see him fit well in most foreign arenas. i have developed a certain respect for him, as he (from my view of what i see him work with) is unlike a lot of his colleagues, preferring to do everything the correct way (both morally and ethically) whereas many of his compatriots take other easier options. (im generalising a fair amount) however im mindful there are some others similar to him that share his view, but im not blinded by the facts as you have pointed out. you're right, much is yet to be addressed here. however my post here was simply pointing out that this website could be blocked or forcibly closed if we don't exercise a certain amount of restraint. the topic of this post really is in poor taste and "could be the straw that breaks the camels back" thats all. ok i that was the point i was trying to make. period.

Edgewood
perhaps you should read all of my posts since i joined... if you care to... then make your comment. since you don't know me at all and obviously aren't aware of where my allegiances lay. you're completely wrong, and i am happy to defend myself to the tenth degree. however the subject of my post is about the original posting, not about chinese society at large, the norms, societal behavour, values or belief system nor the apparent hypocrasy within it. that ceratinly fit for another forum topic, but you nor i are not going to change the ways, that we see around us any time soon. that said though doesn't mean im apathetic, as i certainly do my part to instigate change -no matter how small it might be in the greater scheme of things.
also -here is better than some parts of the middle east in many respects... and Edgewood if this place drags you down so, then why stay? no ones forcing you to be here (nor me for that matter) but i chose to be here. i take the good with the bad and do my best to make an effort to see the glass as half full.

Seriously... a shitstain like that doesn't deserve two seconds worth of thought put into an expression of outrage. Let these pathetic pleas for attention fall on deaf ears.

Sinned69:

You are a discrace to conceptual liberty.
You are the very bastard who says it's better not to stick your neck out and just bumbles around in whatever amount of "free" space you are alotted. Cow. You are the bastard who rolled over on your coworker for having western goods during the revolution. You are the german who killed Jews to fit in.

The hair that broke the camel's back? I guess you haven't read many posts on this board. Maybe the censors got more strict since last year and you haven't heard from posters like FUKUMAN who might even mean half of what they say.

It's hilarious and sad how f ucking blind half the basterds are on here.

Oh and by the way, Shanghai expat isn't in Chinese, and the servers aren't on mainland. Why don't they block the server? Cause this place is a known entity and clearly harmless. No one gives a **** about a satire of an a sshole jock. Only petty bored houswives who want to think they've got µÀÀí but don't have the balls to make a f ucking difference in life. Being a good human is not about what color the language of your humor is.

The government censors are smart enough to realize that if they relegate all the trash to the gutter it's out of the way. If they disrupt the gutter, it'll flow back out into the street. There's no killing it, but you can put it somewhere that won't poison the minds of our complacent little lemmings.

Note: I didn't say anything that would particularly piss off the government, only shi t that pisses YOU off. If they cared about hookers then payed **** wouldn't be available on every corner.

You want to tell someone to watch out, maybe you should get on the people having educated discussions about how Taiwan isn't part of China or that the government is a snot rag.

Sinned69 if you're really looking for some sin and 69 then why don't you be the first volunteer and put that ass against your computer screen so frenchlover1999 can cram his stuck up cock inside your little mouth up into your petty brain while he bites your rabid clam with that yeasty cream sauce you've been aging for so many years.
