I think, the saying "the best offense is a good defense" goes in situations like this... you need to do a better job of protecting your belongings, but once you fail at doing this and they're gone - kiss it goodbye.

I don´t know guys, if i was the OP in this situation, I would have probably been in shock and it would have been too late to do anything about it.

I had no idea that Muse was a sh#thole, I must be a local Chinese too.

I have been travelling for 18 years now and this is the first thing I have had stolen. I really watch my stuff. I had my phone and wallet, keys ect in the front pockets of my jeans and these people were smooth. They pushed up against me and my gf and I was thinking why is everyone so close and barely felt a touch on me reached for my pockets and phone is gone, grab the girl by the arm, two guys pull her back and she goes into surprise mode, and everything happens so fast. My mistake was to let her go , but still the phone was passed on already. Should have grabbed the guy that was doing the pushing and got security, but then again no proof by that time.

Lots of westerners at muse so not sure why Mr. I sit behind my computer and make 10000 posts made the Chinese comment.

Interesting that I met two people this week that also lost their mobiles on the muse dance floor. Both described the same 2 people that I assumed had taken my phone. A asian girl around 27 165cm curly hair black dress that takes the phone and passes it to a guy. One of these people said their phone was taken 6 months ago so it looks like it happens all the time. I wonder how many expats have lost phones at muse if I know 3 people who have.
