OrientalVPN also has a HK based connection, a lot cheaper and very fast in my experience.

socaljohn wrote:I just signed up for trial month of fbvpn for $5 and it was very slow. I e-mailed support made the recommended changes and am now listening to Pandora while typing this e-mail. Speedtest.net at first wouldn't even register speed, now I am hitting 3.05mbps and my regular speed through dsl is only 3.5mbps. Very quick turn time on e-mail and service is working well at the moment. Server is in VA, which is a bit far, but if I can listen to Pandora with no buffering I am happy. I will try hulu and some others next.

Excellent. I switched from Witopia to StrongVPN about 3 months ago. I used witopia for nearly 1 year. Sometimes the speeds were good, other times it was quite slow, unresponsive customer service, etc.
Really, I've had nothing but good and quick customer service from WiTopia.
Just renewed with WiTopia and before they only had 4-5 link up options. Now they have 41 configurations from 23 different cities around the world...including several 128 bit and 256 bit encryption options.

I am pretty fluent in chinese and familiar with AliPay and had no problems ordering your VPN, so just a tip. You need english version of you web page with tutorials if you want to sell it to expats and a lot of additional servers across South East Asia, charge extra for servers that can allow people watch YouTube any time of the day without problems. Most expats pay 400-500CNY year for western VPN servers that are a bit slow here in China.
As for now this is best VPN considering price/speed I came across.

LtSaw wrote:Most servers have low latency but are slower than StrongVPN West Coast servers (i.e. can't watch YouTube). :\
Only good thing it's really cheap I guess + browsing is faster than with other VPN, wouldnt count on it if you want to watch video streams tho.
P.S.
Any suggestion for China Unicom users? I am currently using hk.yesvpn.*** server, latency is 29-30ms, but speedtest.net give only 0.120Mbps.
Upd: I take my words back, can watch YouTube 1080p... unbuffered... http://i.imgur.com/JzR2o.jpg
stable 6-9Mbps. I guess just depends if you have China Telecom or Unicom, ADSL or Fibre and on server you connect to.

Honestly, I prefer to pay a bit more but at least know who is filtering my data.

Not like you more secure without any VPN + I really use VPN for YouTube only.
