What's your nationality?

Postby KalanStar » Wed Jul 28, 2010 10:35 pm

Just wondering what the Expat population's nationalities are.

If you answered "other", please post your country below.

Shanghai is not a nation or country, ergo, Shanghainese (if even a real word) is not a nationality. Sorry, just wanted to point it out.

Looks like these boards are not popular amongst Japanese or Koreans.
The bottom line here is we must lower our cost base to make room for a lower margin product mix world and to grow our earnings going forward.

Met a well-educated Belgian 2 years ago in Europe --- Me, I moved from the US to Aus, so I have an American accent --- and this guy asked me, "Do Australians still have a tendency to steal things?" :-)

Hey, DaXueJiaoShou, at which university are you a professor? what do you teach?

Would that not make you American? Or do Guamanians think differently?

Oh that's so sweet.

VIC, Dansk

I went on a date with a Danish guy, one time (only). He seemed to have asbergers or something because he did not hold conversation, instead, delivered a monologue, during which (dinner) time I could get up, go to the bathroom, chat to other patrons, walk around the block picking up litter and admiring the architecture..... when I returned he was still only half way though his discourse and entre'.

Plus I don't talk much..

 ,Yes, you have the ability to say much with few words.

My date was very fair, shaved head and light light blue eyes.

The Nationality Pole should include Expat.
After the past ten years I'm an Expatian, which is like being a Martian because everywhere seems like a strange new planet, not quite part of it, and then after a time when you go back home not quite part of that either. In your terms "veli veli" odd.

Hmmm, been like this for 20 years, hopping from one country to another.

No, not returning "home" for some more years at least.
