I know Qi Po Lu is a good place to shop for name-brand/fake/real clothes, but i did not see too many backpacks when I was there. Is there any other place that I can get a good deal on backpacks and clothes in general? Either name-brand or "replicas". Also, how late does Qi Po Lu stay open. I dont get off work til 6PM and I need to get something this week.

6PM is too late for going to QiPU Lu.
There're several Decathlon in SH. One is very near the No.2 subway station of LongYang Lu.
You can get backbag there.

Decathalon. There is a place on Biyun Lu across from Carrefour that has some high end stuff.

Copies at the Science and Technology subway station.

Lots of fakes at Science & Tech, I think they're open until 7pm.

Also, in the lower level of Grand Gateway (XuJiaHui) there are a couple of stores that sell good quality outdoor gear. They're open until 9pm.

Fakes: all over the place, buyer beware- not recommended for real rugged trips though as it would suck to have a fake on break while in the jungle or something
