I know it's available online, but I need material for the subway commute. Does anywhere in SH carry The New Yorker or The Atlantic? Also, a woman used to sell slightly outdated copies of The Economist outside the Science and Technology subway station for RMB15, but I haven't seen her in ages. Anyone know of a similar hawker?

You can some imported magazines at the Portman - both the book shop in the Ritz and City Super have imported magazines.
