I am surprised there is so many British and Australian people on this website and in the Shanghai pubs.

Why?

The accents is very unpleasing.

are you serious? i have an american accent and i still think that both australian and british (not chavvy) accents sound waaaaay nicer.

American accent. HaHa. Yes not as bad as the British and Australian. For me I feel the Australian sounds a little without education.

as an aussie, the english sound sophisticated, used to the american accent cause of movies and tv, but i find it cooler in real life... german accent just reminds me of how arnie talks "forgett about it" "get too da choopeer" and "gettt downn"

as for why are there soo many aussie and english on the site.. how does that make sense?? the internet is available to everyone, clearly not all sites in china but why wouldnt we be on it?? clearly u could ask that question if we were on a website name "GERMANS IN CHINA"
