The details of the Wines
White:
Las Casas de Vaqueria Sauvignon Blanc,2007,Chile
The pristine citrus aromas of Vaquerìa's Sauvginon are a real reminder of top drops from Loire. High in the hills of Chile's Maule Valley, the pure sunshine and cool nights give this wine superb purity and freshness - preserved along with its crisp citrus aromas thanks to the screwcap closure.
Winemaker Alvaro Arriagada, one of the rising stars of Chile, is often seen in the vineyards sporting his cowboy hat and is as skilled with the lasso as he is with his vines! In addition to producing fantastically enjoyable wines, Alvaro and his enthusiastic team really 'know how to throw a good party'. Clean and fresh with lively, citrus aromas and mouthwatering grassy, tropical fruit flavours. Great as an aperitif.

Kanonkop Kadette,2007, Stellenbosch,South Africa
Kanonkop Estate has been described by those in the know as being the South African equivalent of a Premier Cru or First Growth. International awards accumulated over more than a decade have gone a long way to substantiate these claims.
Kadette is Kanonkop‘s second label. A blend of 50% plus Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Matured in 225 litre French Nevers barrels for up to 16 months.
Awards:
-IWSC: KWV Dave Hughes Trophy for Best South African Producer
-International Wine & Spirit Competition held in London (IWSC): Robert Mondavi Trophy for International Winemaker of the Year.
Willy Willy Shiraz, 2006, New South Vales, Australia
Australian Shiraz is just the ticket when it's as smooth, warming and utterly delicious as the 2006 vintage of Willy Willy, which benefits from the know-how of New South Wales' Rossetto family. Much of the family's winery is still very traditional, including the open fermenting vats - ideal for this juicy style. The care and attention they require is rewarded by rich, concentrated flavours and smooth tannins. Deep purple in colour with aromas of spices and vanilla. Round and plump with lashings of peppery red fruit flavours and oaky hints.
Awards: International Wine Challenge 2007, United Kingdom
