Witopia help

Postby emerson » Sat Nov 22, 2008 1:56 pm

I finally took the plunge and ordered Witopia for my Mac. Have downloaded the attachment and registered and have the "tunnelback" icon. Problem--when I activate the tunnelback function, I have NO access whatsoever. In fact, I get the same screen as when I access a banned site. With the function off, I have regular access to the internet?

Before contacting customer service in the US, thought I would see if anybody can help. Thanks.

I was never able to get Witopia to work properly with my Mac, even after their service department bent over backwards to figure out what was wrong. We exchanged many an e-mail, tried different tactics and configurations, but in the end they threw up their hands and gave me a refund.

Thanks. Hope that won't be the case, but I'll keep that in mind.

OK. Problem solved. Found the answer on the wiki answer sight. So far, Internet experience is MUCH better than before. Have already downloaded 2 Grateful Dead concerts in the past 40 minutes. Normally this would take me several hours.
