Chilly Cold Down
According to weather forecast, a strong cold front is coming and temperatures  drop dramatically today by 13 degrees celcius over the next 2 days in Shanghai. The lowest temperature was expected to average 6 degrees in the early hours of next Tuesday, but could be as cold as 3 degrees in suburban areas. However, less rain fell in the month compared with those of previous years and the average temperature was higher by 2.4 degrees.
Watch the ever-changing whether. Don't suffer for fashion too much.

This is Michael Jackson
Metropol Cinema and all Jackson fans in Shanghai all join the worldwide celebrations for the premiere of late pop singer Michael Jackson's last movie on October 28. The movie will be on screen until Nov. 22. The film contains a series of clips of Michael Jackson’s last rehearsals for his comeback concert in London, taken from over 100 hours of footage. This is definitely an intriguing look into the last few days of the late star’s life, showing not only Michael Jackson the public figure, but revealing a more intimate behind-the-scenes look into the mind of a legend. In order to meet the locals and expats in town, it goes through with English with Chinese subtitles. The Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel-bridge
The Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel-bridge opened to traffic last Saturday (Oct.31), which provides a quick link between Shanghai and two of its major islands Chongming and Changxing for the first time.

The tunnel starts at Wuhaogou, Pudong, Shanghai, crosses the south part of Yangtze River and ends southwest of Changxing Island. It is 8.5 kilometres in length, and connects to the Shanghai Yangtze River Bridge. In addition to a six-lane expressway, the tunnel-bridge also has two railways.

Known as the third largest island of China, Chongming will benefit a lot from the tunnel-bridge. Compared to the current 90 minutes by ferry, a ride from Pudong to Chongming Island should take only about 30 minutes, which will boost the financial and tourist industries.

However considering its initial stage and people’s curiosity, recently you will meet with traffic jam on the way. In that case, just move your Chongming tour plan a bit behind.
