BREAKING NEWS: Shanghai Expat is Hiring Interns

Do you enjoy making coffee, organizing papers, doing admin and being treated like a slave? If so you should probably reassess your priorities in life and definitely not apply to work with us.

 

Shanghai Expat is looking for a number of fun-loving, passionate interns who’re willing to learn new skills, work hard and help shape the future of our website, Facebook and WeChat accounts.

 

Ideally we’re looking for individuals who can commit to a minimum of a month-long internship and who have an interest in writing news, features, and reviews. If you’re into filming and editing videos, taking pictures, developing social media content or translating Chinese, we also want to hear from you.

 

While you’re here you’ll be part of a close-knit team who’ll challenge you and help develop your skillset so you can go on into the real world and become a successful human being.

 

Requirements:

Experience writing goodly

An general understanding of English grammar, punctuation etc…

An interest in online content and a desire to become the next Casey Neistat

Basic knowledge of online content management systems or blogging platforms

Experience or an interest in learning how to use the professional side of Facebook, Twitter and WeChat

Ability to meet daily deadlines

 

Responsibilities:

Writing and editing a range of articles for Shanghai Expat’s website

Heading out to assist and get involved in our video shoots

Researching and developing ideas for articles, videos and social media

Covering events for Shanghai Expat
