WATCH: 80-Year-Old Samaritan Offers Seat To 90-Year-Old Man

By Ben Cost

An 80-year-old woman thawed hearts around the interwebs after she gave up her bus seat to a man ten years her senior in Guiyang, Guizhou -- proof that the only ones left who respect the elderly seem to be other elderly.

As you can see in the video, the octogenarian immediately offers up her seat upon seeing the 90-year-old man hobbling onto the bus. Apparently the millennials around her were too busy trying to best their high scores on Candy Crush.

According to Shine, the woman asked the man how old he was, whereupon the two started chatting until they arrived at her stop. Unfortunately, chivalrous deeds seem few and far between in a city where people seem to mind their own business more than longshoremen witnessing a mob murder in On The Waterfront.

Here's hoping this helps spark a surge of samaritanism.
